DIY Photography

The Peephole

The peephole is a filter like product used to make the picture appear from behind a door. I personally like this DIY product; it is original and adds a cool effect. It gives more focus to the photo begins taken.  It depends on what kind of photographer one might be and how they like to take photos. There are probably better filters within cameras and things like fisheye that probably have a better outcome. I rate this 4/5
How to make it:
1.       Find an empty toilet or paper towel roll (the cardboard at the end of use)
2.       Cut about an inch off one of the ends
3.       Sharpie the inside of the roll to get rid of the brown colour
4.       Put it around your lens
5.       Take a picture

The Blur

The blur is a filter DIY product used to make the picture appear blurry or mystic. It’s not the best filter but it’s an original and easy idea. It depends on what kind of photographer one might be and how they like to take photos. There are probably better filters within cameras and that have a blur option that probably has a better outcome. This is a cheap free option anyone can use. I rate this 2.5/5
How to make it:
1.       Find a camera to use
2.       Turn on the camera
3.       Breathe on the lens fogging up the view
4.       Wait 2 seconds to let the fog evaporate (this allows the photo to be blurry without not seeing anything)
5.       Take a picture
